Princess Crown - Gradiel

Princess Crown is the best game you've never played, next to Okami. But, unlike Okami, it's not your fault -- Atlus never released it outside of Japan, despite it being re-released on the PSP a few years ago. As a fun aside, I own the original Japanese Saturn version from 1997 and I remember being all excited when I saw it in an issue of Saturn Fan all those years ago.

Odin Sphere for the PS2 is the spiritual successor to Princess Crown, so if you need a description think of that. Beautiful 2D animation, a sort of interesting storyline with multiple characters and an inventory and equipment system that makes you want to kick babies.

This model is deceptive. I love Princess Crown, and I wanted to love this model. But building it was a pain. For one, it once again involves gluing parts on top of each other. It also involves the use of spacer parts, some of which mysteriously don't exist in the lineless version (which is the one I built). The problem with gluing major parts on top of major parts (like joints) is that it is hard to tell where they go sometimes, which leads to instability and crookedness.

But it came out well in the end, so I suppose it's all good.
